John Stamatopoulos works as a freelance visual communication specialist in the fields of Graphic Design, videography, sound design and animation since 2007.

He studied Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1991) and Graphic Design at AKTO Art & Design College (2004)

John Stamatopoulos was the Art Director of VELLIOS SCHOOL OF ART (VSA) from 2011 until 2019, where he also taught Graphic Design, Package Design, Visual Communication and Typography.

He has created visual identity and large format graphics for a variety of brands and stores (Kix, Athlokinisi, Collective, We[R], Mattas Sports, Famous Brands, Danaos, Alektra) and commercial campaigns (Converse -Product Red, Laces - Harley Sportswear, STAFF, N.R.G).

He has illustrated for Eleftherotypia, +design magazine, KYMCO Greece, Eugenides Foundation as well as for several creative agencies (Designteam, Sereal Designers, Designpark, SmartFrames etc). He has collaborated with Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun, Foundation of the Hellenic World, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, ERT 3, Andros International Festival, Horos Theatre Company, Eleven 11 Advertising, Viewmaster Films, Kart Productions, Pantelis Voulgaris, Dimos Avdeliodis, Emm. Koutsourelis, Takis Giannetos, Eva Nathena and more.
